Refrigerated Air Dryer
Introduction : Exessive leakages in compressed air piping ! Sluggish pneumatic tools/machines operation !! Malfunctioning of precious pneumatic instruments !!! Etc. Are unlimited problems faced by compressed air users in industries. The root cause of these problems is moisture, oil and dust particles in compressed air. We the team of 'Pneumatic engineers, from "Drytech" offers RD Series refrigerated drying unit ( RDU ). the RDU can deliver the compressed air with quality of air as per ISO specification recommended to various applications. |
Salient Feature :
- Designed to Indian atmospheric condition.
- Adopted to CFC free environmentally friendly refrigerant system of
R 134a & R 404
- Incorporated with fine filter combination with auto drain for
effective separation of dust, oil and moisture for true dew point
- Lowest achievable dew point.
- Least differential pressure drop across the complete unit including
fine filter combination.
- User friendly control panel.
- Supplied with automatic expansion valve and hot gas by pass
system for continuous duty operation even at under load condition
for certain model.
- Compact design with maintenance friendly work man ship.
- Vast range with air cooled and water cooled version.
- Backed by efficient after sales service with easy spares availability.
Operation :
- The compressed air enters first in precooler and reheater reduces (Air to air heat exchanger). Here the inlet hot air cooled down up to (+) 27° C This cooling is done with outgoing chilled air; thus reduces the heat load coming one to the dryer. The outgoing chilled air is reheated up to (+) 30° C and led to the downstream system
- The cooled air further enters in evaporator (Air to refrigerant heat exchanger). The air chilled here up to (+) 3° C The Chilling causes the moisture and oil in compressed air to condense. The chilled compressed air then enters in to the fine filter combination of after filter set. The compressed air gets filtered here and enters into the precooler and reheater. The Chilled compressed air here get heated up with incoming hot air and then is led to the downstream system. The fine filter combination is installed with auto drain assembly to drain the filters regularly. The auto drain assembly is supplied with by-pass.
• Maximum flow handled by individual model will be equal to nominal flow
of next model.
• End connection size for model upto RD 003 V-A are of screwed BSP (f)
and model RD (004 V-A onwards are of flanged ASA 150 #).
• Refer ‘A’ as a Air cooled version & ‘W’ as a water cooled version in model
number. Due to continuous product development the technical specifications
are subject to change.
